The new version features a woofer with a powerful neodymium magnet and longer throw voice coil as well as a more linear and acoustically transparent spider. The increased bass extension is palpable! Needless to say, the midrange is clearer too, thanks in part to a new air-core crossover coil. The delay line has been modified to bring up the extreme treble which gives cymbals and high hats a little more sparkle.
